Introduction to the Rule Book

The Rules of Golf are the code by which the game is played and their roots stretch all the way back to 1744, when the first formalized Rules were developed in Scotland.

The Rule Book consists of 3 Sections: Etiquette, Definitions and the 34 actual Rules of Golf.

There is a Table of Contents and a “How to Use The Rule Book” section at the front of the book, and a detailed Index at the back.

You can access an on-line version of the Rule Book by pressing the “Rules Online” button on the top of the screen.

You will receive a copy of the Rules of Golf if you register for Level 1.
